ACCESSORY INSTALLATION TEAM LEADER

We are looking for an energetic person to join our team as a hands-on Manager and team leader for a small team of accessory installers at our Otahuhu factory/warehouse.

Airplex installs a wide range of vehicle accessories for all types of vehicles. Operating in Auckland and distributing nationwide, we service a wide group of customers including fleet operators, motor vehicle dealerships and retail customers.

We are now looking for a practical hands on person to join our Ute & 4x4 Installation team.

Typical accessory installations include, ute canopies, hard lids, liners, towbars, sports bars, nudge bar, winch bars, roof racks, flares, and whole lot more!

Key skills will include;
- Able to manage 2-4 staff
- MUST have practical general automotive knowledge and experience.
- This is a hands on role. Installing accessories.
- Good team worker
- Good communication skills
- Able to manage your time and organise your team to meet work vehicle deadlines
- Liaise with other managers on product fitment and some product development
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, with a good attitude towards work
- Current full drivers licence
- Team player willing to help out in other areas of the business as required
- Liaise with factory management on product fitment and some product development
- Moderate heavy lifting is involved and sometimes required to climb under vehicles so applicant would need to be reasonably physically fit

The position is based at Otahuhu Auckland and an immediate start is available.

42 hours per week.
Mon-Thur 8am-5pm
Fri 8am-4pm
